Just goes to prove that if the current system goes to serve YOUR narrow self interest, you will go to no end to justify it AND defend it... even at the cost of creating deep divides amongst a larger group. Hi,
My Checks are encased on Saturday 09/15th. My Applications received nebraska on July 20th. Since My I-140 is from Texas, the case transferred to Texas.
Just Checks are cashed, not yet recieved any Receipt Notices yet.

All 4 checks form me and my spouse have been encashed. and have received receipts by my attorney's office. Althought when i check status online with these receipt numbers it says my EAD application has been rejected due to improper filing and they have sent a notice to my lawyer's office on Aug 9th.
My lawyer says they haven't received anything so far. I am really concerned and I am not sure if this is normal or is my lawyer hiding something from me. (May be thier filing problem)??? please help

Hell, quite a few of the poll questions say the "amnesty" is unfair to those people who play by the rules...
I say.. focus our efforts on us for the time being.. differentiate ourselves from the undocumented..

I'm so thrilled that this happened ... I actually expected this to happen ........ Not sure why they didnt simply make it U .... Hopefully will spur all the EB2 folks to do something rather than thinking that the problem is only for unfortunate EB3 filers :)

Will surely attend the rally with my wife on July14th.
Just a thought..Why not request all our GC/citizen friends to also attend?

Some of my cousins and friends who are just leaving college (even the prestigious IIT's) are unwilling to come to the US.
If they do come here, they are reluctant to go after the "GC". They want to wait for a few years, and would embark upon the journey only if there are any "fixes" in the EB GC system.
If not, there are several developed countries that take point based immigrant visa applications and give you a decision in a year or two.
Most of these young friends have already made plans to apply to these countries. Those who qualify have already applied. In one case, a friend whose H1B did not go through last year, immigrated to Australia. (Both he and his wife also found a job in less than a month.)

USINPAC has been very helpful and has played a key role in guiding and helping us. We should all be Thankful to USINPAC for significant help that they have provided us.

Nope, I haven't got the receipt nos for one set of checks yet, I guess people filing with TSC are getting receipt nos & also the notices.I know few friends of mine got thier notices too
