Everyone getting receipt notices, and not coming to the rally, (not coming to the rally -most on tracker threads), please at least consider contributing to the rally once you get your notice or FP done or get EAD!. The rally cost is huge and we can do much more if people can contribute generously.
We helped you get to the stage so that everyone can file I485s. It pains us in the core team see how our members who used to tell us all the time to at least allow them to file I485 and then they will wholeheartedly take part and support IV have turned their backs on us now. With our work and victory in Visa bulletin fiasco, we even answered people who used to ask us for our achievements before they could contribute.
Now it is your opportunity to deliver.
I fully agree, one should come to rally and if cant atlease contribute.
With so much information one gets from IV that itself is a good reason to contribute. Especially when people have paid 100's of dollar in just mail expenses.
I am working on getting friends geared for rally, if not to contribute.
Lets plan for rally , if not at least contribute for your own good.

TIP: Print them you should be able to read.:) My checks cleared on the same day got the receipts yesterday. So you should be getting them today or tomorrow. I am not sure if attorney can chose whether to send it to you or not.
I think both Attorney and we will get the receipts. By the way it may be too early to ask but can't control it .. any one got FP notice or EAD's?

Did any one discussed this with an attorney. May be a conference call with Mr. Rajiv Khanna ? Can anyone from IV core member respond what is their take on such a class action. Will we have the support from IV if such lawsuit is filled.
Again i strongly believe our only way out of this mess especially for EB3 India is lawsuit.

People have been thinking that all along and have been lying motionless like a crocodile doing sunbath. USCIS have been retrogressing the Visas and at the same time consistently wasting Visa numbers every years. Shouldn't they have already been sued for that. We'll not do anything today just because it take 2-3 years. But what if they screw us again after 2-3 years. Dodn't you think we should keep fighting for injustice even if the benifit may not come to our generation but should pass to coming generation. If every body will become so much short sighted nobody would care for global warming, alternative eneryg options etc...
The suit is long over due. If we do not do it, they will never learn the lesson and they will continue screw not only us, but the future generation again and again. I wish the previous generation had done that for them as well as for us, and we would not have been in such a pathetic situation. :mad:

Hello All,
I am in the same situation in that I too have not received my FP notice as yet. Filed July 23rd at TSC. The application was transferred to CSC and then back to TSC. I opened a SR on October 5th and still have not received a FP notice. When I called to follow up, I've was told that the TSC is significantly delayed because of the volume of applications they received and to wait 90 days!
For those of you who have used infopass, was it helpful in getting your FP scheduled?
Also, can the person who wrote to the obudsman post the e-mail address and format of what he/she wrote? This would make it easier for those of us who would also like to send an e-mail.

My attorney told me that they sent my case to USCIS through FEDEX overnight on 6th June. My check is not cleared from my bank yet. I am concerned about my RD. Any idea?

I was researching some stuff & since you are from Fiji & with the political unrest in your home country, can you take political asylum since you were kinda forced to leave the country. Wanted to know what the members here think of the probability of receiving RFE from USCIS to find out whether the applicant is still in a "same or similar" job when the time comes to adjudicate cases for for EB3 India.
I ask this because in a poll conducted in a separate thread, it seems the number of people waiting for their GCs are more with PDs before Dec 2004 than after that date.
When the dates become current again for these people, do you think USCIS will be sending RFEs to get the employment information for every single of them ? Is there is a percentage from the pending applications that they pick for RFE, assuming all applicants who changed employers DID NOT notify USCIS when they changed jobs OR is it completely up to the whims of the adjudicating officer to send an RFE ?
There are several people I know who changed employers with EAD, never notified USCIS and got their GCs without any RFE. Trying to understand whether USCIS will think twice before sending RFEs for everyone as the number of applicants waiting with PDs of 2004 and earlier are huge now than ever before. Won't it be too overwhelming for them to issue RFEs to all and manage their responses?
