Move fast and hold a rally or send out flowers to Obama administration for their racism towards immigrants.
Act fast, I know 20th is close, think about is as an emergency
Now is the time to really take this to the next level and push for real changes to employment-based processing. Or you can simply accept the reality that you have to wait ten years longer than everyone else to get a green card

Did you change your mailing address after you submitted your I-485?
Some time they correspond to your old mailing address even though you updated the address with USCIS.
Did you check with your Attorney? Is the correspondence address given is your mailing address or Lawyers? Some times Lawyers give their address for correspondence to USCIS.
These factors count where the approved mail goes to. I am sure you might have checked these before. If you over-looked these, then these may be the areas that you have to check on.
My 2 cents.

You now USCIS don�t know when they will change their minds.
To better be on safe side to get it stamped on my passport. I took info pass on 8-11-08 it will be almost 30 days,

We can ask this question during our next attorney conference call. Please remember to ask. I will ask. If a couple of more people ask, then our attorney will definitely answer the question.
Another way is to ask the question in Rajiv Khanna's forums. Again, if a couple of people ask the same question, the question will get prominence and Mr. Khanna would definitely answer the question.
Did any one discussed this with an attorney. May be a conference call with Mr. Rajiv Khanna ? Can anyone from IV core member respond what is their take on such a class action. Will we have the support from IV if such lawsuit is filled.

I actually got this input of contacting congressman to implement this change, from USCIS only(their blog). I will also contact the ones mentioned in your posting. I also request all EB folks affected by this spillover usage not based on priority date, to contact them in addition to their local congressman. There was one RFE - USCIS requesed two photos. They were shipped on July 2nd.
I have not received any FP Notice. (strange)

I dont have access to the certified labor copy , I am just wondering if we need it for AC21 purposes. I am not sure how to get it from my desi employer/ desi lawyer. I have a job offer with a fortune 200 company which is willing to do H1b transfer/extension so I am opting for H1b instead of EAD. I am pretty sure about the job description will satisfy the same/similar test.
Is the job title and job description mentioned on the labor cert? Mine is a pre perm case. Is it good to have copy of labor cert for AC21?
I-485 filing package should include a Letter of Reconfirmation of job-offer from your sponsor. This letter should describe what was in the LC. If you get a copy of this letter, you know what you need from your new employer. I-485 is your filing, therefore, you should not have difficulty in getting a copy of full set of what was filed.

Any idea how long it takes for a decision once it has been assigned to an officer?
My wife's case was assigned to an officer on Aug 11th.
in my case iwas exactly 3 weeks.
Someone else mentioned on this forum that the officer will clear all the cases assigned to him/her within 30 days.
