Looks strange.
Opened SR's, infopass etc... first the reason was NC... now they just say it should be approved, no idea why its stuck... Now we are just tired... let it come whenever it has to... 11 years and still waiting :mad:

1. You can write to USCIS to extend your OPT period.
If your home country has a problem - like Famine, Earth Quake, Tsunami, Military Coup or another civil unrest, you can claim hardship in returning to your home country and ask for extension on that basis. God forbid, let us pray nothing like that should happen in your home country just for the sake of your OPT extension.
I do not know the validity of your status during your request for extension. Will the EAD be considered extended automatically till USCIS answers your request? Check with your student advisor as some students might have done this before.
2. Ask your company to put you under training (H-3 Visa). This has come up quite a few times in this forum.

How long can one stay unemployed on EAD? my pd is Nov2005 EB-2
I got laid-off on Monday I was on H1-b. The employer has notified USICS to withdraw the H1-B. But will not be revoking any GC related stuff. Was on H1-b Laid off 485 pending 180days+ have EAD :(

Lets say my H1b renewal is pending..while its pending I used EAD for a diff company than my sponsoring company( I will be with my Sponsoring company but in bench). Then my H1b gets approved. Can I still work with a diff company till I choose to go out to stamp for H1b and once am in US i can start working for my sponsoring company again?
Yes. The only way to do a COS from AOS to H is, re-enter with appropriate status.
By the way what are you trying to accomplish? What do you really want to do and why?

It is not necessary approve before you leave this country. You can leave before they make decision. But you can not return USA using expired AP.

You can not return into USA using expired AP. In order to use new AP which you have already applied. It should be approved before you leave USA.
Other option you have H1B stamping if you are maintaining H1B. thanks

Don't worry, his viewership is something like 200k. considering 300 million population of the US, just think what %age of people watch him? i don't think his constant whining makes a diff. Americans are smart enough that these so called news anchors are nothing more than sales/marketing guys employed indrectly by the political parties.
People like Sean Hannity, rush linbaugh constantly bashed Obama (they still do), but how much diff does it make to the american people?
another comparison: people like Dobb and Hanitty make $8-10 million a year, whereas Howard Stern makes $100 million a year. If people took these jokers seriously they would worth much more.

Thanks for your input guys. can the job description be changed now for an labor petition that has been filed before? My lawyer made me fill a questionnare and lot of other things about what I do. She picked up main lines from my resume and filled it up on my job description.

I have talked to my lawyer. I am also the victim of the same mistake. My lawyer has filed G-325 for me and my wife instead of G-325 A.
But my lawyer said that his firm has been filing G-325 for quite a while and had no issues with it.
I hope it should not be an issue. The content on both forms is exactly same.
Lets wait and watch.

My PD is current, and also my processing date is outside the processing times currenlty published by NSC and I140 is approved. Not sure why AOS is still pending. Any thoughts? What I should do to expedite this. Thanks.
